What is A foundation for a better America?

Tyranny doesn't always come at the end of a sword; it comes when a government, at any level, professes to know more about what is good for you than you do, then mandates you to comply.

Our republic has become unstable. The founding principles and ideals that were originally penned onto the parchment of our Constitution have been amended with some favorable and some not so favorable amendments but the principles of that document have largely been abandoned by those who were elected to support and defend it. We hardly resemble the nation that once stood as a powerful beacon of hope for the entire world...rather, we have become much like the rest of the world, a leveraged, over-governed, less free and less sovereign nation state.

Our republic was founded upon the concept of a government that was run by the people. In order for that government to function properly it had to be manned with people who believed in honesty, hard work and small government. It would have to be run by those who would hold themselves and those around them accountable, who believed in keeping her sovereign, unscathed from debt, tyranny and oppression. The governed would give their consent to just, righteous and meaningful laws that would be passed by duly elected legislators, laws that would be designed around the concept of liberty that were meant to protect the freedoms and rights of her citizens. Laws that would provide an atmosphere that would encourage, inspire and motivate a free market economy in which private business would thrive, largely unregulated, but would be held accountable for their actions.

The inspired ideals of our beloved Constitution, combined with the efforts of just men, propelled our nation into a world leader in a relatively short period of time. We became a haven for freedom, a destination for peace, a harbor where anyone could come and aspire to achieve their desires. A nation that said “Welcome! Together we can do great things, accomplish the impossible and turn dreams into reality. Bring your talents, your fervor for hard work, your passion for dreaming and let’s inspire each other to become the best in the world.”

Somewhere along the line something happened that was never supposed to happen. Government grew far beyond its means, it over-regulated industries, took over the education system, infiltrated private sector businesses, established a system that created dependents and was then forced to over tax to pay for programs that it was never meant to manage. Ever since America has been foundering. Government has grown far beyond the consent of the governed and our freedoms, our liberties, our family farms, private businesses, homes and families are now under more and more government intervention.

These are the reasons for which A Foundation for A Better America was inspired. Our goal, as a foundation, is to reintroduce our Constitution to the American People.

The Federal Government has intentionally gone out of its way to ensure that we have lost touch with our rights as citizens of this great nation. Most of America doesn’t even realize what they have lost. We believe that once they truly understand what has been hidden from them, and blatantly taken away, that they will see what is at stake. Our goal is to inspire the people and show them how to peacefully take back our republic from those who are desperately trying to destroy her.

Our efforts as a foundation will be focused on a national advertising campaign to include:

* Inspiring commercials, billboards, social media and radio spots teaching founding principles.

* As a 501(c)(4), we will support “America First” candidates.

* Support legislators who promote and defend small business and private industry.

* Support legislators who understand that the primary role of government is to protect the rights of the people.

* Use conservative influencers to educate students in founding ideals and principles.

* Use funds to operate a perpetual and effective fundraising campaign to propel the foundation.

* Promote the foundation as a modern day Federalist Papers and show that Founding ideals and Principles are as

effective today as they were 235 years ago.

By reintroducing these principles, we believe that these campaigns will help the American People understand that socialism isn’t a trendy alternative to our system of governing but rather a corrosive and devastating ideology that has been forced upon us with the intention of destroying our republic.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to reintroduce the American People to the ideals and principles that were penned into our Constitution.

Our goal is to encourage and motivate the American People to take back our republic through informative and inspiring campaigns that will help them make the best decisions at local, state and federal ballot boxes.

We will rally behind and promote America First candidates for Federal Office, legislators who promote the America First Agenda and legislation that promotes an atmosphere in which private business can thrive.

Finally, to ensure that The People's voice will never be silenced, we will run campaigns to restore election integrity so that all the legal votes that are cast are the only votes that are counted.

About our Founder

Doug McKee was raised in Connecticut, The Constitution State, and then moved to the Great State of Arizona in 1991 where he operates a general contracting firm.  He established a Political Action Committee that has raised millions of dollars for conservative candidates seeking federal office.  He has been a candidate for federal office himself and understands politics and the political game from the inside out. Doug received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University where he studied Political Economy, International Relations and History.

Doug has a great love for our republic and a deep passion for our Constitution; he is known to carry a copy of it, in one form or another, wherever he goes.  He believes in the principles that were penned in it and believes that our elected officials, at all levels of government, have largely ignored and sidestepped it for far too long.

Since our schools have stopped teaching the ideals and principles that our Founding Fathers intended to pass on to us, Doug believes that the American People have lost touch with our Constitution and, for the most part, don't recognize when the government has reached beyond its means.  He believes that this was done intentionally to keep us from understanding the very first obligation of our Federal Government: To protect the rights of the people.

The slippery slope that America has been on for decades has inspired Doug to start A Foundation for A Better America.  His love for our republic has brought him to this new endeavor of sharing his passion for our Constitution, reintroducing it to the American people and then inspiring us to take America back from those who are desperately trying to destroy her.

Doug envisions using the foundation to build a coalition of Constitutionalists, across America, who share his dreams for our republic. He would ultimately like to have people in every community, nationwide, who would become resources of information to their peers.  People who would hold workshops that would help their fellow citizens identify the Constitutional candidates who are running for office and offer insight on proposed legislations that our Founding Fathers would approve of.

Doug loves sharing his passion and his visions of how we can restore our republic at political rallies, campaign events, schools and club venues, so please feel free to reach out to him and extend an invitation for him to speak.
